Access to Education
Looking back on his childhood in Kellyton, AL, Justin Tuck is aware of the role education played in his future success. Had he not loved school and taken it seriously from an early age, he would not have done well in high school. Had he not succeeded in high school, college would not have been possible. And without college, there would be no Justin Tuck, defensive end and two time Super Bowl champion for the New York Giants.
Access to education made the difference for Justin and his wife Lauran, and they are making it their philanthropic priority to increase access for low-income youth. They believe in literacy and financial literacy as two important cornerstones to college access and are working to support both fields in New York, New Jersey and Alabama.
